Why Do We Walk?
Glenn’s Gang will be participating again this year in the Walk to Defeat ALS here in Georgia. We will be walking in Memory of Glenn Woodard and others like him.
Glenn passed away in January 2020, just 2 years after his diagnosis. We know he would want us to continue walking to fight this disease and help find a cure. He always said that he knew there would not be a cure that would help him but he wanted to support the ALS Association so that someday, hopefully soon, there would be a cure for this disease.
During his battle with ALS, Glenn was always so positive. Even though this disease completely changed the life he once knew, his infectious attitude, positive outlook and zest for life never faltered.
So, Glenn’s Gang will be participating in the 2021 Walk to Defeat ALS Saturday, September 25, 2021 – continuing Glenn’s fight raise funds for those who are still fighting this fight every day. Money raised will go toward research and to support the Georgia ALS Chapter. Your support helps fund programs, resources, education and equipment for patients living with ALS and their families here in Georgia.
