We need to let people with ALS know they are not alone. ALS affects more than nerve cells and muscles, it affects families, friends, co-workers, and communities.
With no known cause or cure, ALS challenges the human spirit and tests the courage of everyone touched by this devastating disease.
However, we can work together to create a Community of Hope that restores dreams and builds courage. Our community gives strength and hope to our loved ones, neighbors, and friends facing the fear and uncertainty of ALS.
Your gifts will make this possible. Please click the donation button to the right and give generously.
Thank you for helping us build a Community of Hope!

Funeral Arrangements
Dear friends, family and colleagues,
Our Dad, Paul B. Williams, died early Tuesday morning, November 29th, 2016 from complications related to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Our Mother, Linda B. Williams, has been his full-time caregiver with help from friends, family and healthcare workers.
Daddy is the co-founder and former president of Owen & Williams Fish Farm, Inc. He also taught Sunday School in the Julia Evans Joy Class at Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church for over 20 years and served as the Americus District Coordinator for UMVIM, United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, for many years. In 2014 the church missions fund was named in his honor.
Funeral arrangements:
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2nd at Clark Funeral Home, 142 Commerce Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
A memorial service with communion will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3rd in the sanctuary of Hawkinsville First UMC, 44 Merritt Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036. In addition to reserved seating for family members, seats will also be reserved for employees of the fish farm and members of his Sunday School class. Please stay for a reception with the family at the church in Cochran Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the ALS Association Paul B. Williams Memorial Fund or to the Hawkinsville First UMC Paul B. Williams Mission Fund.
We appreciate all the love and support our church, work and hometown communities in both Georgia and Alabama have shown us and our mom and dad since Daddy was diagnosed with ALS in February of 2014. We know that so many of you truly care and we have been blessed by your kindness and concern.
Sincerely,
Travis Williams and Carley Johnson
