Our Honorees:

Phil Niekro (Pictured Left) : Phil Niekro, former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. He formed Phil Niekro Roasts, Inc. to help raise funds for Spina Bifida and has also has aided the March of Dimes, Big Brothers Association, and the Empty Stocking Fund. Phil was recognized for his outstanding commitment to both his community and philanthropy by being named winner of the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award. 

Mark Panfel (Pictured Right) :Mark Panfel is the Regional Vice President of Envision Physician Services and serves on The ALS Association Georgia Chapter Board of Directors. His wife, Sally, was diagnosed with ALS in 2012. Since then, Mark has raised over $1 million towards the fight against ALS and continues to support the Association through The Sally Panfel In-Home Care & Respite Program and the Walk to Defeat ALS.
